Passenger Side Door Lock Won T Work

The passenger side window will not roll up or down from the drivers door switch or passengers door switch.

Alright so using a physical key to unlock the door isn t the end of the world but it is a slight hassle if you re used to the convenience of electric locks. All other window locks and mirror controls for the other doors work. Also the mirror won t move. The key fob battery is dead.

Symptom summary the power door locks are all inoperative or a single door lock is inoperative. The passenger door will not lock from either the drivers door passengers door or key. Heres a good test take the passenger front side off and the driver side off as well. Take the passenger side over to the driver side and plug it in and try locking the doors.

If any wiring is damaged replace them. Pop the window and door lock switch panel off the door handle. If you go to your car. If the battery isnâ t the problem the issue may be with the fob itself.
